......My Favorite Fairs.......
NYRF, Mostly the PA faire unfortunately my companions and I, as well as some Highlandians we just met were escorted out by a pack of seven or so constables for singing me bloody chanteys. (Literally Bloody but in a jolly way).

Tis wasn't the music as much as how crazy and pumped the patrons became. Beating on the pub bar to the beat, attempting to sing along, and cheering."Ahh, bless their hearts." I don't think the appearance of me and my black adorned companions helped much in our defense (We are often pre-judged).Twas a short sentence though, we were back and singing the next day. "Down with censorship !" you'll never silence Blackwolf (:

About Me

....Hail all in this wonderful shire!!! I am Blackwolf the Reaver. I Hail from Highlandia but spend much time in the East parts of this country of America. I write and sing Chanteys which some of you might have heard if thou hast frequented the PA faire in the months of October. They range from brutal medieval chanteys, battle hyms of honor, songs of pubs and brothels, to romantic mystical love songs.I've been frequenting faires since the late eighties, and if my budget allowed, I'd be going to a lot more (Or maybe even open my own, where SCA members would be allowed to battle in an arena, there would be a pub with scantily clad belly dancers, and I'd be allowed to sing my Chanteys . In the meantime. I would love to meet folk or be reunited with wonderful people I've previously met at past faires. Fear not, the horns may be sharp, but the heart inside is tender. (:

I do tend to give a movie extra points if it is really trippy, bizarre, or has good cinematography or a lot of eye candy. Based on that, yes, I like Indies more than Main Stream. I love feedback of any sort to my reviews, so go crazy, I'd love to hear your opinion. Everyone views movies differently.

Ahhh yes, I have just found out that a new musical video of myself has been floating around Youtube. Tis as fowl as my previous performance, but captures the essence of what it's like to hang out with Blackwolf the Bard at a fair. Alas the CD is on sale. A big relief for me until I start the next. I think I'll take a short sabbatical though and work on a semi-animated video for a song that will appear on the 2nd CD. Anyhow this is where you can find the CD www.cdbaby.com/cd/blackwolfthebard If for any reason you see this label up in the top corner, don't let that deter you. Basically they don't hold a large inventory for me, so every time it gets to zero they put that sign up until they receive my new shipment (which is only about 3 business days) so if you decide you want one go ahead and backorder because it will only take about 3 more days than normal. Thanks for all the support I've gotten thus far from everyone and enjoy.
