NYRF, Mostly the PA faire unfortunately my companions and I, as well as some Highlandians we just met were escorted out by a pack of seven or so constables for singing me bloody chanteys. (Literally Bloody but in a jolly way).

Tis wasn't the music as much as how crazy and pumped the patrons became. Beating on the pub bar to the beat, attempting to sing along, and cheering."Ahh, bless their hearts." I don't think the appearance of me and my black adorned companions helped much in our defense (We are often pre-judged).Twas a short sentence though, we were back and singing the next day. "Down with censorship !" you'll never silence Blackwolf (:

    About Me Photobucket
....Hail all in this wonderful shire!!! I am Blackwolf the Reaver. I Hail from Highlandia but spend much time in the East parts of this Country. I write and sing Chanteys which some of you might have heard if you were frequenting the PA faire the last weekend of the faire. They range from brutal medieval chanteys, battle hyms of honor, songs of pubs and brothels, to romantic mystical love songs.I've been frequenting faires since the late eighties, and if my budget allowed, I'd be going to a lot more (Or maybe even open my own, where SCA members would be allowed to battle in an arena, there would be a pub with scantily clad belly dancers, and I'd be allowed to sing my Chanteys . In the meantime. I would love to meet folk or be reunited with wonderful people I've previously met at past faires. Fear not, the horns may be sharp, but the heart inside is soft. (:

I do tend to give a movie extra points if it is really trippy, bizarre, or has good cinematography or a lot of eye candy. Based on that, yes, I like Indies more than Main Stream. I love feedback of any sort to my reviews, so go crazy, I'd love to hear your opinion. Everyone views movies differently.

    The Butcher

    Tuesday, June 2, 2009, 03:03 PM [General]

There's a man with an iron blade and he owns a shop where his meats displayed
From deer to duck to a wild boar and there's a room for rent just above his store.
Well smiling Jack was a happy man who was gleefully traveling through this land
When he saw a sign for a vacant room and he thought What luck had he found so soon.
The butcher extended his blood stained hand, and he said "Dear Jack your a fine young man.
I'll rent you this room for a price that's cheap. Tis a shabby hole, but you'll get good sleep."
There's a man with an Iron blade and he own's a shop where his meats displayed
Tis the finest cuts of the sweetest beast and if you rent his room you will rest in peace.
Well as the sun set behind the trees all the sounds below in the shop had seized.
And smiling Jack who was fast at rest, didn't notice the shadow across his chest.
The butcher's blade fell upon his head and the silk white sheets were all soaked in red.
Then smiling Jack he was sliced and chopped, and the next day sold in the butcher's shop.
There's a man with an iron blade and he owns a shop where his meats displayed.
From suckling pig to a smiling Jack and there's a bed for rent in the room round back. Yes
There's a man with an Iron blade and he own's a shop where his meats displayed
Tis the finest cuts of the sweetest beast and if you rent his room you will rest in peace.

    Lord Blackwolf,

I pray your voice has been boding well in not a loss of it from much the song. One day I shall make the journey and we shall sit and share a tankard singing of tymes past and adventure. For now, I hope all is well and this economy has not grasped its hold pon your throat as many others have had. My toiling still holds for me which is good. Many a long hour watching the tapers burn low. Bristol begins in 11 days where I await journey. For now, I wish you well, my friend.
